THE OLD CLUNKER CAFÉ

The late 60's saw the birth of a Cycling movement that would mould and shape to become what we now know as Mountain Biking.

Pioneers of this early form of Mountain Biking rode custom made bikes using parts from Cruiser Bikes, Motor Cycles and other types of Bicycles.

These Bikes commonly became known as "Klunkerz".

The Old Clunker Café pays homage to those early days and its pioneers, guys the likes of Gary Fisher, Tom Ritchey & Charlie Kelly to whom we owe for the term "Mountain Bike" itself.

Our Café is for all to use, cyclist or not, MTB or Road.

Come and join us for maybe the best Coffee in the Surrey Hills, freshly made Piadina & a Cinnamon Bomb.
